This document about MASSERIAS’ Terms and Privacy was created for property owners and customers.
By accepting to list your property or submitting a booking request through MASSERIAS, you agree with our conditions.
How MASSERIAS works
MASSERIAS is not a travel agency but a website matching tavellers who search for an accomodation with whom offers an accomodation.
Users that made a booking request through MASSERIAS will be put in direct contact with the Owner of the Accomodation who is responsible for completing the transaction independently from MASSERIAS and in charge for all customer support activities.
MASSERIAS only puts owners in contact with visitors enabling them to get paid directly by travelers.
Given this, MASSERIAS is not responsible for any booking made through its website. All damages or disputes arising from cancelled requests, overbooking or misleading information are out of the responsibility of MASSERIAS.
Payment
Owners are paid directly by guests and for this reason they have to get in touch with each other to define how to do the transaction outside of MASSERIAS’ platform.
Owners that receive a booking through MASSERIAS and get paid by the guest, are requested to pay the eventual fees within 2 weeks from the date of departure of their guests.
Privacy Policy
MASSERIAS will treat all personal information strictly confidential and no personal information will be made available to third parties, unless obliged to do so by law or legal process. This security and privacy statement is created in order to document and communicate our commitment to doing business with the highest ethical and responsible standards and appropriate internal controls. When you forward personal information including your name, e-mail address, mailing address to us, once we receive it, we will protect such information from unauthorised access and use and utilize it for the nature it was intended for. This site may use”cookies” to customise it and make your visit to us more user friendly. Cookies cannot harm your computer in any way and are an industry standard. They are small text files that contain only information provided by you, the visitor, to the website. Furthermore, our users may configure their browsers to not accept our cookies. MASSERIAS may send e-mail messages to our customers with news and special offers and users may, by return mail, indicate whether they would prefer not to receive any such mail in future. Our site contains a number of links to other sites.
We are not responsible for the security or privacy practices of these sites, the products or services offered by these sites, or the content appearing at these sites. MASSERIAS does not endorse any of the products or services marketed or sold on any other sites.

Owners that want to cancel their membership to MASSERIAS can do it by sending an email to info@masserias.com and requesting their account to be cancelled.
