Description

Caserío de Mozaga is a traditional canarian farmhouse built in late XVIII century and listed in the Historic Catalogue of Lanzarote located in an estate of approximately 10.000 sqm.

The house has been the property of the same family and served as their home since its construction. The family has lived since then without interruption.

Back in 1998, its present heir and owner conducted a thorough renovation of the farmhouse to adapt it to hotel and touristic use, maintaining part of it for private use as her home.

The renovation made special emphasis in keeping harmony between the old and the new elements. The aim was to maintain all antique structural, architectural, furniture, family old paintings and objects.

It is our wish that our guests enjoy the peace, nature and beauty of Lanzarote and discover its special luminosity and mild weather.

If luxury means for you escaping from the busy day to day and enjoy relax and nature be sure that there is no place than Lanzarote to find it.

THINGS TO DO

Lanzarote – Reserve of the Biosphere – is one of the seven islands of the Canary Archipelago, which belongs to the Macaronesia. It has an extension of around 700 sqkm and its landscape is basically volcanic.

Caserio de Mozaga is situated in the heart of the island in the village Mozaga.

In addition to the beautiful beaches that you can find in the island, we suggest to visit and discover other places, among which our preferred ones are the following:

LA GERIA
The wine region of Lanzarote is unique in the world. Especially by his very special form of cultivation . Each grape vine is planted on the island soil and covered by a blanket of lapilli (volcanic ash) and protected from the trade winds by a wall from volcanic rock.

The characteristic variety is Malvasia and the wines produced from it were even praised by Shakespeare and Goethe.

CENTROS DE ARTE, CULTURA Y TURISMO

Back in the 60´s, our beloved local artist César Manrique promoted the conservation of our environment with the aim to protect and enhance our singular landscape.
He developed his work during more than two decades and left us the legacy of the “Centros de Arte, Cultura y Turismo”.

We will never be sufficiently thankful with him.
